CFO

Eric has over 34 years of leadership experience which he gained as the owner of a commercial printing company called Cohber Press, located in Rochester, NY. It was during this time as CEO that he oversaw tremendous growth in the late 1980’s and through the 1990’s. It was during the difficult early 2000’s that his leadership skills grew the most, by guiding Cohber Press through an uncertain economy and as the commercial printing industry shifted. This required Eric and his management team at Cohber Press to change its business model multiple times to remain competitive and successful. Eric sold the company in 2019.

Eric met John Loury and Mike Sutton in 2015 and formed what is now Cause + Effect Strategy. Eric serves as the CFO and Board member. While the CFO duties are clearly defined, he generates most of his satisfaction being an advisor and “Godfather” to the firm.

Eric is a lifelong resident of Rochester, NY. Eric attended Indiana University where he received his BS in Public Financial Management & Policy Administration. Outside of work, Eric owns and operates a farm and enjoys skiing, golfing, travelling with his wife Mary, and spending time with his 3 boys.
